The Latest

July was, and still is, busy. We got some fun shots of our time with family in Boise and from here at home too to show you what we've been up to.

Sweet Shades
Arie's practicing with sunglasses for the eye glasses that he'll soon be getting. Good news on that front though! We got wonderful feedbackabout his eyes---his vision is good in one eye and improving steadily in the other. The strabismus (crossed eye) is not as bad as it was and the doctor has gone from saying he was blind in that eye to seeing fairly well. Praise God for answers to prayer!

Cousins
Well, we took a lot of pictures, but trying to get four babies to stay propped up, smile and not suck or scratch the kid next to him (that would be Arie) is nearly impossible. Here's the best shot.

Our Fantabulous View
Every time I look out our front window I am inspired by the continual change I see before me. Wheat and barley stretch for acres and acres, right up to the mountains. The barley is mesmerizing when the wind catches it on the side of a hill and blows ripples through it like waves. It looks so soft. I know better though. Barley's itchy stuff. Living just outside of town has given me a very new perspective on seasons, and I appreciate the changes more than ever before.

Penny
We love our dog. Couldn't have picked a better one. She'll be two next month and we're hoping to have a litter of puppies out of her this winter/spring. Can't wait!
